The Curious Case Of Millennials
There are sobering reports that are released every few months that try and paint a grim picture of the millennial workforce. Whether we're discussing college graduation rates or unemployment rates, you'd be led to believe that the millennial generation is going to hell in a hand basket. The most recent one I read was pegging the millennial unemployment rate for males at roughly 30%, which is almost six times the national average of 5%. And another was showing the downward trend of college completion rates. But what's causing this? Are millennials struck with a desire to fail? Do they expect to suckle from the teat of their parent's retirement funds long into their adulthood?
