How James Altucher Taught Me To Choose Myself At 4:00 AM

Let's take it back to 1967 where Edward de Bono coins the term “lateral thinking” in “The Use of Lateral Thinking.” De Bono's research concluded that the brain is a self-organizing system that routinely interprets and inputs data into patterns inherently not designed for creativity. Our brains, as indicated in my book, The Big Trade Simple Strategies For Maximum Market Returns are highly developed for pattern recognition. Lateral thinking is defined as the deviation of conventional or traditionally accepted thoughts, which encourages creativity. James Altucher is the synthesis of this concept. He lives at the intersection of an endless array of ideas and philosophies, which for him, are all inextricably linked.
