Critics Worry That New York LaGuardia Airport Renovations May Not Be Enough

New York City's airports are famous for their reputation as the source of many of the nation's air traffic delays as well as their constant state of deterioration. LaGuardia takes much of the derision. Its central terminal suffers from low, dark ceilings, infrastructure problems and crowded, narrow halls, leading Vice President Biden to refer to it as "third world."
