Lollipop's Lethargic Growth Rate Is Holding Back Android

Google has updated its Android database which shows the adoption rates of the various Android versions. Android Lollipop continues to grow and is now running on over eighteen percent of active Android devices. But questions remain over Google's ability to roll out vital changes to the Android platform, especially over security concerns.
